Here's a few more pics of the Puppies

Puppysitting for the weekend...
Saturday marked the first day of our 3 day 'puppysitting'. As Mona (Larrie's Mom) was off to Calgary we were up for looking after Meesha and her 4 week old puppies. Things went fairly smooth, with only a few 'incidents'. After watching ET with Larrie Taris decided that one of the puppies would like to sleep with her stuffed animals. It wasn't until I went to give Darcie a bath that I could hear a little crying coming from Taris' room...I was informd that it was just that one puppy crying. When asked which one, the reply was just that one with my pretend animals. After the poor little thing recovered from his adventure everything was good. Taris was banned from holding the pups for the rest of the night, and hopefully she realizes that maybe the puppy wasn't really all that happy being away from his brothers.
Here are some pics from their visit. Meesha is doing very well as a mother and has seemed to have calmed right down! You'll notice she was never far away when Taris was holding her babies.

Little Fishie.....

Today marked the first day of swimming lessons for Taris. Geared up in her pretty pink bathingsuit she rode her bike to the pool, parked it with 'the big kids' bikes and ran to her first lesson. Thinking before we left that I should come in with her she became very brave with all her little friends and decided she could do it herself (lucky for me!) She was quite cautious at the start..sticking close to the side...but seemed to become a little braver as the 1/2 hour progressed. She was quite proud of herself and her favorite part was putting her face in the water!

On a side note...way to go Cam Ward...goalie for the 2006 Stanley Cup Champions, Carolina Hurricanes, and 2006 Conn Smythe winner!!!

That's Taris 2nd from the right...pink suit

Boogie Fest

The annual Boogie Fest is on this weekend, unfortunately the weather is rainy so all events have been moved to the rink. That didn't stop our little 'biker babes' from having tons of fun....mostly just running till they couldn't run anymore!!

What do you think??

Thought I'd try something new. It seems everyone and their dogs are now 'blogging' so hey, why not, it might be fun! This may be a good way to keep everyone upated with the latest pictures and happenings with the girls, and you can check it at your leisure! Please let me know what you think....I think you may have to sign up to be able to leave feedback, but you don't have to do anything other than that, and it's free. Does anyone else have a 'blogspot'??
